Well, when I started this new website I vowed to start over. Forget all the material we had developed the past 4 years and just move on. However, after looking at my old site (mountain-bike-diaries.com), I have decided I will transfer some of the more helpful material over to this site … especially the work done by theWrench. I don’t want this material lost when I shut down the other site.
So, I have put my son-in-law (Jeremiah shown above) to work transferring the most useful material to this site. The moving of this material is quite labor intensive, requiring decisions as to what to keep and what let die. Not only does the text have to be copied and pasted, all links within the website have to be rewritten, all photos transferred into the new media library and then posted onto the new page, etc.
There are going to be several of these posts loaded the next few days. If you have already read these posts or are not interested in fixing your own bike then please ignore them (although theWrench is quite funny even if you don’t need his help).
Despite loading this older material to the site, I still plan on making this new website different. I want this site to consist mostly of blogs written within the last day or two … about events or thoughts which have evolved within the immediate past.
I also want to urge you to Join the Family and subscribe to the email notices and comments for this site. We all learn more by staying connected.
